NineLogix launches a Russia payment solution for digital products

NineLogix connects local acquiring, Merchant of Record operations, licensed currency conversion and merchant settlement to create an end-to-end path from Russian customer payment to cross-border merchant settlement.

October 12, 2026

The solution is designed for online courses, SaaS, AI tools, digital content and platforms. Founders do not need to form a Russian company or a new overseas entity merely to submit an application. Individual founders, sole proprietors and applicants using Russia's NPD self-employed tax status may also apply for case-by-case review.

More than a payment button: a complete transaction path

Selling a digital product in Russia raises several connected questions: customers expect local payment methods; international founders may not want to receive and manage RUB directly; acquiring, conversion and settlement need clear regulated roles; and every payment must still connect to delivery, refunds, disputes and reconciliation.

NineLogix organizes these functions through an application-first Merchant of Record model. For approved sales, a Russian customer pays through an available local method; the verified transaction is linked to the order, product and digital-delivery evidence; and the merchant payable is settled under agreed conversion and settlement terms to an eligible, reviewed account held in the merchant's name.

How local acquiring, licensed conversion and MoR work together

The solution uses a layered model. Local payment institutions provide available acquiring in Russia. A Hong Kong licensed money-service institution participates in approved conversion and cross-border funds handling. NineLogix operates the MoR transaction layer: Checkout, order and payment records, delivery evidence, refund and dispute coordination, reconciliation and merchant-settlement operations.

A buyer's RUB payment does not mean the merchant must hold RUB directly or build its own Russian collecting entity. The current public path covers reviewed one-time RUB Stores that may be assigned SBP and supported Russian bank cards. Methods, FX basis, settlement currency, schedule, threshold, fees and destination-account eligibility remain application- and agreement-specific.

  • • Russian customer: sees an approved RUB price and uses an available local method
  • • Local acquiring: processes an approved SBP or supported Russian bank-card transaction
  • • Licensed conversion and cross-border layer: handles the agreed currency and funds path
  • • NineLogix: connects Checkout, order, delivery, refunds, disputes, reconciliation and merchant settlement as MoR
  • • Digital-product merchant: fulfils the product and receives the reconciled merchant payable

Can a founder apply without a Russian or overseas company?

Yes, an application can be submitted. NineLogix does not impose Russian incorporation or a newly formed overseas company as a universal prerequisite. Individual founders, sole proprietors, Russian NPD/self-employed applicants and existing entities in other jurisdictions can first present their real identity, product, market, price, delivery model and intended settlement account.

An application is not automatic approval. Identity and residence, product legality and fulfilment, customer markets, sanctions and channel restrictions, refund exposure, transaction model and account eligibility are reviewed. Some cases may require an appropriate entity, contract, bank account or additional evidence before launch.

What kinds of digital businesses are seeking this route?

Recent NineLogix applications and conversations span online courses, digital platforms, AI and productivity tools, SaaS and other digitally delivered products. Enquiries have come from founders in South Korea, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Uzbekistan and China, as well as individual entrepreneurs serving the Russian market.

These are anonymized demand signals, not claims that every applicant is approved or live. Each Store, product, price, payment method and settlement arrangement is reviewed independently.

How is this different from a conventional payment gateway?

A conventional gateway usually concentrates on payment authorization and collection. A MoR must also establish who sells to the customer, what Checkout discloses, how the order maps to fulfilment, how refunds and disputes are handled, how records are reconciled and what amount becomes payable to the merchant.

NineLogix treats paid, delivered, reconciled, settled and paid out as different states. A successful payment is neither proof of fulfilment nor proof that funds are already withdrawable. This separation makes each order explainable from purchase through settlement.

What should an applicant prepare?

Prepare a product or demo URL, the real operator, product category and use, target customers, proposed RUB pricing, one-time or another billing model, digital fulfilment after payment, refund policy, support route and the merchant-named account intended for settlement.

After admission, NineLogix reviews products and prices by Store, assigns eligible payment capabilities, prepares Checkout, validates the integration and moves into live operations. Sensitive identity and bank evidence is not required in the public form; it is requested later through the protected merchant workflow.
